Palau Kids

In the development of its public function in the field of musical culture, one of the Palau de la Música’s main objectives is to programme activities which, due to their variety and appeal, are aimed at different audiences. In this way, it aims to help young people to discover and be introduced to all kinds of artistic manifestations, fundamentally those related to music, dance and theatre, thus offering a magnificent platform for approaching the project to young people from the perspective of the different arts.

With this aim in mind, PALAU KIDS, the Palau de la Música’s educational programme aimed at children and young people, was born, both in its concerts for school groups and in its didactic activities aimed at families. The PALAU KIDS programme offers an approach to music from a wide range of musical genres: symphonic music, opera, chamber music, religious music, jazz, popular urban music, etc.
