NIEVES PASCUAL LEÓN

Nieves Pascual León studied Piano and Musicology at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Valencia (2008), combining these studies with Business Administration and Management (Universitat Politècnica de València, 2011). She holds a PhD in Music (2015) with a thesis on the pedagogical work of Leopold Mozart and musical performance in the 18th century. She participates in national musicological research projects and is present in the main forums of this discipline. He has collaborated with various media in the field of music and has worked in the area of artistic management at the Palau de les Arts in Valencia. She also coordinated Ópera XXI, the Spanish Association of Theatres, Festivals and Opera Seasons in Spain.

She is Professor of Musicology at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Valencia and, since September 2021, she has held the post of Head of the Music and Performing Arts Service at the Ministerio de Educación y Formación Profesional. Since February 2024 she has been Deputy Director of Music at the Palau de la Música de València and Intendant of the Valencia Orchestra.
