Tras consolidarse en el trío de Chick Corea a finales de los 90, Avishai Cohen ha fusionado su impactante sonido de bajo acústico con influencias de música folclórica judía, jazz, música del mundo y clásica, creando un estilo distintivo y accesible. Ese estilo, junto con sus dotes como artista, le han otorgado reconocimiento mundial y una amplia red de influencias, consolidando su posición como uno de los mejores bajistas de su generación. Avishai Cohen y su nuevo y dinámico trío presentarán música de su último álbum, «Brightlight», y estrenarán nuevas composiciones junto con clásicos de su vasto repertorio y catálogo de éxitos. Cohen, quien se ha distinguido como un gran promotor y descubridor de jóvenes talentosos, vuelve a destacar a jóvenes talentos excepcionales con la incorporación de Itay Simhovich al piano y Eviatar Slivnik a la batería.
Itay Simhovich, Piano: 20 años, otro joven pianista desconocido y talentoso, descubierto recientemente por Avishai, quien actuó con él por primera vez en Marciac. Sin duda, una estrella en ciernes...
Avoid Slivnik, Batería: Es un baterista y compositor de jazz israelí que actualmente reside en la ciudad de Nueva York. Empezó a tocar la batería a los ocho años y se formó en la Arison School of Arts y la Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts.

Avishai Cohen and his new dynamic trio will present music from his latest album 'Brightlight' and debut new trio compositions alongside fan favourites from his vast repertoire and hit catalogue. Cohen, who has distinguished himself in the past as a great promoter and discoverer of gifted young musicians, once again brings exceptional young talent to the fore by introducing Itay Simhovich on piano and Eviatar Slivnik on drums.

Eviatar Slivnik, Drums:
Eviatar Slivnik is an Israeli jazz drummer and composer who is currently based in New York City. He started playing the drums at the age of eight and trained at the Arison School of Arts and the Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts
